"etymology_text": "麒麟是古代中國傳說中的神獸，外型為獐，尾巴是牛，獨角且全身覆蓋著鱗。上古漢語發音為*g(ɯ)-rin（鄭張尚芳），在先秦時期也常寫作：\n* 麟 (上古 *rin)、\n* 麐 (上古 *m·rin, *m·rins)、\n* 𪊓、\n* 蔽 (上古 *peds)。\n“𪊓”、“蔽”兩字已見於甲骨文（甲骨文合集：36481, 36836）與金文（伯其父簠铭《三代》10·18 下）。至於“麒麟”究竟是指何種動物，眾說紛紜。有認為麒麟是只限於傳說中的神獸，最初可能基於現實中的某種動物；亦有學者認為麒麟指獐、牛或印度犀牛（王暉，《古文字中“𪊓”字与麒麟原型考———兼论麒麟圣化为灵兽的原因》，2009）。\n在宋朝–明朝，長頸鹿傳入中國。或是通過亞洲和非洲多國向中國進獻得來，抑或是鄭和下西洋時從沿途國家帶回中國。進獻最早始於永樂12年（1414年）的榜葛剌（今孟加拉一帶）國，此後三十年間，至少有5隻長頸鹿被帶入中國（張之傑，《鄭和下西洋與麒麟貢》，2007）。當時除了使用音譯詞祖剌法 (zǔlàfǎ)（來自阿拉伯語 زُرَافَة (zurāfa, “長頸鹿”)）作為此動物的名字外，也稱呼其為麒麟，因時人認為它是神獸麒麟的原型。此外，也可能是北非語言中「長頸鹿」一詞與當時漢語中的「麒麟」發音相似，即音義兼譯（Zhang, 2007）。對照：\n: 索馬里語 geri (“長頸鹿”)、桑戈語 kôlo、阿姆哈拉語 ቀጭኔ (ḳäč̣ne)、哈薩克語 керік (kerık)、穆爾西語 kirin和阿拉伯語 زَرَافَة (zarāfa)、زُرَافَة (zurāfa)（從英語 giraffe而來）。\n麒麟中的「長頸鹿」的含義，雖然在現代漢語已經過時，但至今還保留在日語（麒(き)麟(りん) (kirin)）和朝鮮語（기린）。在現代越南語（kì lân），這個詞除了指麒麟外，也指西方的神獸獨角獸（unicorn）。",

"etymology_text": "麒麟是古代中國傳說中的神獸，外型為獐，尾巴是牛，獨角且全身覆蓋著鱗。上古漢語發音為*g(ɯ)-rin（鄭張尚芳），在先秦時期也常寫作：\n* 麟 (上古 *rin)、\n* 麐 (上古 *m·rin, *m·rins)、\n* 𪊓、\n* 蔽 (上古 *peds)。\n“𪊓”、“蔽”兩字已見於甲骨文（甲骨文合集：36481, 36836）與金文（伯其父簠铭《三代》10·18 下）。至於“麒麟”究竟是指何種動物，眾說紛紜。有認為麒麟是只限於傳說中的神獸，最初可能基於現實中的某種動物；亦有學者認為麒麟指獐、牛或印度犀牛（王暉，《古文字中“𪊓”字与麒麟原型考———兼论麒麟圣化为灵兽的原因》，2009）。\n在宋朝–明朝，長頸鹿傳入中國。或是通過亞洲和非洲多國向中國進獻得來，抑或是鄭和下西洋時從沿途國家帶回中國。進獻最早始於永樂12年（1414年）的榜葛剌（今孟加拉一帶）國，此後三十年間，至少有5隻長頸鹿被帶入中國（張之傑，《鄭和下西洋與麒麟貢》，2007）。當時除了使用音譯詞祖剌法 (zǔlàfǎ)（來自阿拉伯語 زُرَافَة (zurāfa, “長頸鹿”)）作為此動物的名字外，也稱呼其為麒麟，因時人認為它是神獸麒麟的原型。此外，也可能是北非語言中「長頸鹿」一詞與當時漢語中的「麒麟」發音相似，即音義兼譯（Zhang, 2007）。對照：\n: 索馬里語 geri (“長頸鹿”)、桑戈語 kôlo、阿姆哈拉語 ቀጭኔ (ḳäč̣ne)、哈薩克語 керік (kerık)、穆爾西語 kirin和阿拉伯語 زَرَافَة (zarāfa)、زُرَافَة (zurāfa)（從英語 giraffe而來）。\n麒麟中的「長頸鹿」的含義，雖然在現代漢語已經過時，但至今還保留在日語（麒(き)麟(りん) (kirin)）和朝鮮語（기린）。在現代越南語（kì lân），這個詞除了指麒麟外，也指西方的神獸獨角獸（unicorn）。",

"etymology_text": "麒麟是古代中國傳說中的神獸，外型為獐，尾巴是牛，獨角且全身覆蓋著鱗。上古漢語發音為*g(ɯ)-rin（鄭張尚芳），在先秦時期也常寫作：\n* 麟 (上古 *rin)、\n* 麐 (上古 *m·rin, *m·rins)、\n* 𪊓、\n* 蔽 (上古 *peds)。\n“𪊓”、“蔽”兩字已見於甲骨文（甲骨文合集：36481, 36836）與金文（伯其父簠铭《三代》10·18 下）。至於“麒麟”究竟是指何種動物，眾說紛紜。有認為麒麟是只限於傳說中的神獸，最初可能基於現實中的某種動物；亦有學者認為麒麟指獐、牛或印度犀牛（王暉，《古文字中“𪊓”字与麒麟原型考———兼论麒麟圣化为灵兽的原因》，2009）。\n在宋朝–明朝，長頸鹿傳入中國。或是通過亞洲和非洲多國向中國進獻得來，抑或是鄭和下西洋時從沿途國家帶回中國。進獻最早始於永樂12年（1414年）的榜葛剌（今孟加拉一帶）國，此後三十年間，至少有5隻長頸鹿被帶入中國（張之傑，《鄭和下西洋與麒麟貢》，2007）。當時除了使用音譯詞祖剌法 (zǔlàfǎ)（來自阿拉伯語 زُرَافَة (zurāfa, “長頸鹿”)）作為此動物的名字外，也稱呼其為麒麟，因時人認為它是神獸麒麟的原型。此外，也可能是北非語言中「長頸鹿」一詞與當時漢語中的「麒麟」發音相似，即音義兼譯（Zhang, 2007）。對照：\n: 索馬里語 geri (“長頸鹿”)、桑戈語 kôlo、阿姆哈拉語 ቀጭኔ (ḳäč̣ne)、哈薩克語 керік (kerık)、穆爾西語 kirin和阿拉伯語 زَرَافَة (zarāfa)、زُرَافَة (zurāfa)（從英語 giraffe而來）。\n麒麟中的「長頸鹿」的含義，雖然在現代漢語已經過時，但至今還保留在日語（麒(き)麟(りん) (kirin)）和朝鮮語（기린）。在現代越南語（kì lân），這個詞除了指麒麟外，也指西方的神獸獨角獸（unicorn）。",

"etymology_text": "麒麟是古代中國傳說中的神獸，外型為獐，尾巴是牛，獨角且全身覆蓋著鱗。上古漢語發音為*g(ɯ)-rin（鄭張尚芳），在先秦時期也常寫作：\n* 麟 (上古 *rin)、\n* 麐 (上古 *m·rin, *m·rins)、\n* 𪊓、\n* 蔽 (上古 *peds)。\n“𪊓”、“蔽”兩字已見於甲骨文（甲骨文合集：36481, 36836）與金文（伯其父簠铭《三代》10·18 下）。至於“麒麟”究竟是指何種動物，眾說紛紜。有認為麒麟是只限於傳說中的神獸，最初可能基於現實中的某種動物；亦有學者認為麒麟指獐、牛或印度犀牛（王暉，《古文字中“𪊓”字与麒麟原型考———兼论麒麟圣化为灵兽的原因》，2009）。\n在宋朝–明朝，長頸鹿傳入中國。或是通過亞洲和非洲多國向中國進獻得來，抑或是鄭和下西洋時從沿途國家帶回中國。進獻最早始於永樂12年（1414年）的榜葛剌（今孟加拉一帶）國，此後三十年間，至少有5隻長頸鹿被帶入中國（張之傑，《鄭和下西洋與麒麟貢》，2007）。當時除了使用音譯詞祖剌法 (zǔlàfǎ)（來自阿拉伯語 زُرَافَة (zurāfa, “長頸鹿”)）作為此動物的名字外，也稱呼其為麒麟，因時人認為它是神獸麒麟的原型。此外，也可能是北非語言中「長頸鹿」一詞與當時漢語中的「麒麟」發音相似，即音義兼譯（Zhang, 2007）。對照：\n: 索馬里語 geri (“長頸鹿”)、桑戈語 kôlo、阿姆哈拉語 ቀጭኔ (ḳäč̣ne)、哈薩克語 керік (kerık)、穆爾西語 kirin和阿拉伯語 زَرَافَة (zarāfa)、زُرَافَة (zurāfa)（從英語 giraffe而來）。\n麒麟中的「長頸鹿」的含義，雖然在現代漢語已經過時，但至今還保留在日語（麒(き)麟(りん) (kirin)）和朝鮮語（기린）。在現代越南語（kì lân），這個詞除了指麒麟外，也指西方的神獸獨角獸（unicorn）。",
