"raskas" meaning in Proto-Finnic

Adjective

Etymology: From the root of *rasëda with a substitution of the adjective ending (from *-EdA to *-As, as in *veeras). The *-k- is more difficult to explain; it may be from *-kka (and the complete suffix be in fact *-k'as), which may have become ungeminated to prevent a phonotactically impossible **-skk-.
