"հեց" meaning in Old Armenian

See հեց in All languages combined, or Wiktionary

Noun

Etymology: The origin is uncertain. Martirosyan suggests derivation from Proto-Indo-European *pelḱ-sk- or *pelḱs with Old English felg (English felloe) as a cognate. Alternatively, connected with խեց (xecʻ, “pot; shell (of molluscs, etc.)”), if the basic meaning of the latter was ‘turning, twisting’.
