  "etymology_text": "此漢字寫法是借字 (当て字):Template:分類，出現於1855年的《日本国魯西亜国通好条約 (“日俄和親通好條約，下田條約”)》。\n1877年俄國要求更換翻譯用字，因首字魯 (ro)有“魯莽”等惡義。而日本方面重新選擇露 (ro)（露西亜），是表示“日”日本升起，則“露”俄羅斯會因此蒸發。\n西亜兩字的使用可能受漢語讀音的影響。在舊時的漢語翻譯中（如1864年的一版聖經）也有用“西亞”作-siya的翻譯。",
