Noun

IPA: /arˈɣa/ Forms: arga [romanization], арганы [accusative, definite], аргалар [plural]
Etymology: From Proto-Turkic *ărka (“back”). Originally referred to the slope behind a mountain. Due to the humidity of the northern side of Tuvan mountains which made them abundant with trees, this word eventually became synonymous with mountainous forests in general.
