"tātïg" meaning in Proto-Turkic

See tātïg in All languages combined, or Wiktionary

Noun

Etymology: From *tāt- (“to taste”) + *-ïg, At some point in the medieval period a secondary form *tāt arose in some of the descendants, for a similar case compare *elig (“hand”). Norman proposes Manchu ᠵᠠᠨᠴᡠᡥᡡᠨ (jancuhūn, “sweet”) derives from Proto-Tungusic *daldï (“sweet, tasty”) which assumes a possible relation with Turkic.
