"norvъ" meaning in Proto-Slavic

See norvъ in All languages combined, or Wiktionary

Noun

Etymology: Probably related to Lithuanian narvýtis (“to persist, to be stubborn”), possibly Ancient Greek νωρεῖ pl (nōreî, “energy, urge”). Further origin perhaps from Proto-Indo-European *h₂ner- (“vitality, drive”) (the root of *h₂nḗr (“man, person”)). (Some) Western South Slavic descendants are etymologically problematic. Snoj tentatively derives them from related *naravь, *narava < *nar- + *-avь, *-ava. Compare Lithuanian nóras (“will”).
