Cognate with Odia ହଁ (hã), Hindustani ہاں / हाँ (hā̃), Gujarati હાં (hā̃), Marwari हां (hā̃), Nepali हाँ (hā̃), Marathi हां (hā̃), Punjabi ਹਾਂ (hā̃), Khowar ہا (hā). Doublet of হ (ho) and আঁ (ã), a variant unaffected by the contamination.",
