"text": "قسوس: هو المعروف بحبل المساكين وهو اللبلاب الكبير الذي يعرش على الأشجار وغيرها وفي المنازل. ديسقوريدوس في الثانية: هو نبات شبه اللبلاب غير أنه أصلب منه وهو أصناف كثيرة وأجناسه ثلاثة أحدها يقال له الأبيض، والثاني يقال له الأسود، والثالث يقال له القس والذي يقال له الأبيض ثمره أبيض والذي يقال له الأسود ثمره أسود وفي بعضه مع السواد شبه في لونه بالزعفران ويسميه بعض الناس تريوسيون وأما الذي يقال له القس وهو المشتبك فلا ثمرة له وهو دقيق الأغصان وورقه دقاق مزواة حمر وكل أصناف قسوس فهو حريف قابض ضار للعصب وإذا أخذ من زهره مقدار ما تحمله ثلاث أصابع وشرب بشراب كان صالحاً لقرحة الأمعاء وينبغي إذا احتيج إلى شربه أن يشرب منه مرتين في النهار وإذا دق وسحق وخلط بموم مذاب بزيت وافق حرق النار والطري من ورقه إذا طبخ بالخل ودق كما هو نيئاً أبرأ من وجع الطحال وقد يدق ورقه ورؤوسه ويخرج ماؤها ويخلط بدهن السوسن البري الذي يقال له أرسا وعسل ونطرون ويسعط به لأوجاع في الرأس مزمنة وقد يخلط بالخل ودهن الورد ويبل به الرأس لذلك أيضاً وإذا خلط بالزيت فيبرئ من وجع الأذن ويفتحها وسيلان القيح منها والقسوس الأسود إذا أخرج ماؤه وشرب الأكثر منه أضعف البدن وشوش الذهن وإذا أخذت من رؤوسه خمسة ودقت ناعماً وسحقت في قشر رمانة مع دهن الورد وقطر في الأذن المخالفة للسن الألم فيسكن الوجع وهي تسود الشعر وإذا طبخ ورقه بشراب وعمل منه ضماد كان موافقاً لكثير من القروح الخبيثة العارضة من حرق النار ويجلو الكلف وثمره الذي يقال له القس ورؤوسه إذا شربت أدرت الطمث وإذا أخذ منها درخميين وبخرت به المرأة بعد طهرها منعت من الحبل، وإذا أخذ قضبانه بورقه وغمست بالعسل واحتملته المرأة أدرت الطمث وإذا احتمل يعين في سهولة إخراج الجنين وإذا دق وأخرج ماؤه وقطر في الأنف نقى نتنه والعفونة العارضة فيه ودمعته إذا لطخ بها الشعر حلقته وقتلت القمل والأصول إذا دقت وأخرج ماؤه وخلط بخل وشرب نفع من نهشة الرتيلا. جالينوس في السابعة: هذا مركب من قوى متضادة وذلك أن فيه جوهراً قابضاً وهو بارد أرضى وفيه أيضاً قوة جاذبة حريفة وهي حارة وطعمه شاهد على ذلك وفيه مع هذا جوهر ثالث وهو الجوهر الموجود فيه وما دام رطباً حتى إذا جف ولا بد ضرورة أن يتحلل أولاً هذا الجوهر ويبقى فيه ذانك الجوهران الآخران أعني الجوهر البارد الذي يقبض والجوهر الحار الذي له الحدة والحرافة وورق هذا اللبلاب إذا طبخ بالشراب ما دام طرياً أعمل الجراحات الخبيثة وألحم الجراحات الخبيثة ويحتم القروح الحادثة من حرق النار وإن طبخ ورق هذا بالخل نفع الطحال وأما زهره فهو أقوى وبهذا السبب صار إذا سحقت مع القيروطي كانت من أبلغ شيء لحرق النار وأما عصارة هذا النبات فهو دواء يسعط به ويشفي أيضاً المادة المتحلبة إلى الآذان إذا هي عتقت والقروح العفنة التي تكون في الأنف، وإذا كانت عصارته في بعض الأوقات حارة فينبغي أن يخلط بها دهن ورد ودهن آخر عذب وأما صمغة هذا النبات فإنها تقتل القمل وتحلق الشعر لأن قوتها تحرق إحراقاً خفيفاً وذلك أنه بمنزلة صمغ مائي وكذا صمغ كل شجرة أخرى أي الصموغ كانت مما تسمى دمعة الشجر.",

"text": "قسوس: هو المعروف بحبل المساكين وهو اللبلاب الكبير الذي يعرش على الأشجار وغيرها وفي المنازل. ديسقوريدوس في الثانية: هو نبات شبه اللبلاب غير أنه أصلب منه وهو أصناف كثيرة وأجناسه ثلاثة أحدها يقال له الأبيض، والثاني يقال له الأسود، والثالث يقال له القس والذي يقال له الأبيض ثمره أبيض والذي يقال له الأسود ثمره أسود وفي بعضه مع السواد شبه في لونه بالزعفران ويسميه بعض الناس تريوسيون وأما الذي يقال له القس وهو المشتبك فلا ثمرة له وهو دقيق الأغصان وورقه دقاق مزواة حمر وكل أصناف قسوس فهو حريف قابض ضار للعصب وإذا أخذ من زهره مقدار ما تحمله ثلاث أصابع وشرب بشراب كان صالحاً لقرحة الأمعاء وينبغي إذا احتيج إلى شربه أن يشرب منه مرتين في النهار وإذا دق وسحق وخلط بموم مذاب بزيت وافق حرق النار والطري من ورقه إذا طبخ بالخل ودق كما هو نيئاً أبرأ من وجع الطحال وقد يدق ورقه ورؤوسه ويخرج ماؤها ويخلط بدهن السوسن البري الذي يقال له أرسا وعسل ونطرون ويسعط به لأوجاع في الرأس مزمنة وقد يخلط بالخل ودهن الورد ويبل به الرأس لذلك أيضاً وإذا خلط بالزيت فيبرئ من وجع الأذن ويفتحها وسيلان القيح منها والقسوس الأسود إذا أخرج ماؤه وشرب الأكثر منه أضعف البدن وشوش الذهن وإذا أخذت من رؤوسه خمسة ودقت ناعماً وسحقت في قشر رمانة مع دهن الورد وقطر في الأذن المخالفة للسن الألم فيسكن الوجع وهي تسود الشعر وإذا طبخ ورقه بشراب وعمل منه ضماد كان موافقاً لكثير من القروح الخبيثة العارضة من حرق النار ويجلو الكلف وثمره الذي يقال له القس ورؤوسه إذا شربت أدرت الطمث وإذا أخذ منها درخميين وبخرت به المرأة بعد طهرها منعت من الحبل، وإذا أخذ قضبانه بورقه وغمست بالعسل واحتملته المرأة أدرت الطمث وإذا احتمل يعين في سهولة إخراج الجنين وإذا دق وأخرج ماؤه وقطر في الأنف نقى نتنه والعفونة العارضة فيه ودمعته إذا لطخ بها الشعر حلقته وقتلت القمل والأصول إذا دقت وأخرج ماؤه وخلط بخل وشرب نفع من نهشة الرتيلا. جالينوس في السابعة: هذا مركب من قوى متضادة وذلك أن فيه جوهراً قابضاً وهو بارد أرضى وفيه أيضاً قوة جاذبة حريفة وهي حارة وطعمه شاهد على ذلك وفيه مع هذا جوهر ثالث وهو الجوهر الموجود فيه وما دام رطباً حتى إذا جف ولا بد ضرورة أن يتحلل أولاً هذا الجوهر ويبقى فيه ذانك الجوهران الآخران أعني الجوهر البارد الذي يقبض والجوهر الحار الذي له الحدة والحرافة وورق هذا اللبلاب إذا طبخ بالشراب ما دام طرياً أعمل الجراحات الخبيثة وألحم الجراحات الخبيثة ويحتم القروح الحادثة من حرق النار وإن طبخ ورق هذا بالخل نفع الطحال وأما زهره فهو أقوى وبهذا السبب صار إذا سحقت مع القيروطي كانت من أبلغ شيء لحرق النار وأما عصارة هذا النبات فهو دواء يسعط به ويشفي أيضاً المادة المتحلبة إلى الآذان إذا هي عتقت والقروح العفنة التي تكون في الأنف، وإذا كانت عصارته في بعض الأوقات حارة فينبغي أن يخلط بها دهن ورد ودهن آخر عذب وأما صمغة هذا النبات فإنها تقتل القمل وتحلق الشعر لأن قوتها تحرق إحراقاً خفيفاً وذلك أنه بمنزلة صمغ مائي وكذا صمغ كل شجرة أخرى أي الصموغ كانت مما تسمى دمعة الشجر.",
