  "etymology_text": "From Middle Persian univerbized from the word for “country, land, village”, which is in Classical Persian دِه (dih), and the name of a military minister employed under Khusrow I and Khusrow II known from the Battle of Jalula and named in Arabic mostly نَخِيرْجَان (naḵīrjān) and نَخَارْجَان (naḵārjān) but most correctly in Classical Syriac ܢܟܘܪܓܢ (/⁠*naḵwārgān⁠/), of dubious interpretation, but the settlement nigh croplands took this army commander’s name for the strategical importance as a rich treasury of provisions, according to a local interpretation transmitted by Yāqūt al-Ḥamawī, who only knows it as دِهْنَخِيرْجَان (dihnaḵīrjān) and completely clipped خَرَّقَان (ḵarraqān).",

In Armenia, curtains, draperies, and rugs multifarious and fine hang down, the rod being Dabīl.           "text": "وسلماس مدينة على بعد من بحيرة كبوذان وهي بحيرة ملحة الماء ليس فيها دابة ولا سمك وفيها مراكب كثيرة تختلف من أرمية والمراغة وأعمال تبريز وداخرقان وحواليها من جميع جهاتها قرى عامرة ورساتيق متصلة وبين هذه البحيرة والمراغة من شرقيها خمسة عشر ميلاً وبينها وبين أرمية من غربيها ستة أميال وبين داخرقان وهذه البحيرة اثنا عشر ميلاً وطول هذه البحيرة أربع مراحل بين الشمال والجنوب وعرضها بين المراغة وأرمية نحو ستين ميلاً وتكون فيها أمواج عظام في الشتاء تذهب فيها المراكب وفي وسط هذه البحيرة أجبال مسكونة لكنها منيعة يسكنها أصحاب المراكب بعيالاتهم ومياههم رديئة قليلة وقد ذكرنا من أخبار البلاد المضمنة في هذا الجزء ما فيه كفاية والله المستعان.",
