Выловленная рыба потребляется главнымъ образомъ на мѣстѣ и ближайшихъ раіонахъ. Данныя о количествѣ ловимой въ Черномъ морѣ рыбы весьма скудны; г. Данилевскимъ въ 60-хъ гг. общій уловъ рыбы здѣсь опрѣделенъ въ 100 т. ц. Въ новѣйшее время уловъ рыбы значительно больше. Такъ, въ раіонѣ севастопольскаго градоначальства, т.е. на протяженіи 35 вер. по берегу моря, въ 1888 г., по показаніямъ рыбопромышленниковъ, было поймано рыбы на 175 т. р.
