"Megalosaurus" meaning in Translingual

See Megalosaurus in All languages combined, or Wiktionary

Proper name

Etymology: From Ancient Greek μέγας (mégas, “large”) + σαῦρος (saûros, “lizard”), coined by William Conybeare as a translation of his original 1821 English name for it, "Huge Lizard". The genus name was formally announced in 1824 by William Buckland. Although it predated (and in large part inspired) the use of the suffix -saurus for dinosaur genera, it can be analysed as megalo- + -saurus.
