"piikivi" meaning in Proto-Finnic

See piikivi in All languages combined, or Wiktionary

Noun

Etymology: From *pii + *kivi. The first component is cognate at minimum to Proto-Samoyedic *pə̈j (“stone, flint”), and may be from a Proto-Uralic root *pije (“flint”). However, it is also possible that the first component is etymologically identical to *pii (“prong, tooth”), in which case the original meaning of the compound would have been "tooth-stone" rather than "flintstone".
