Adjective

IPA: /ˈɪː.ħɔr/ Forms: oħra [feminine, singular], oħrajn [plural], oħra [plural]
Etymology: From Arabic آخَر (ʔāḵar). Compare Hebrew אחר (ʾaḥēr). The plural oħrajn is unusual in that the plural ending -in seems to have been added to the feminine ending (rather than replacing it as *oħrin). This might have to do with the fact that -a here goes back to Arabic long -ā, provided that the formation is of old age.
