This was a primary school in Feng-lang village in Shang-hang hsien, the neighboring county to Yung-ting. The latter information is drawn from a biography of Liu Yung-sheng, a fellow radical from Shang-hang hsien who later commanded local forces in Yung-ting belonging to the army of Chang Ting-ch’eng.",
