  1. A children's game; variant of hide and seek with a "home base" the seeker must return to in order to tag players. At the home base, there is a board placed e.g. on a threshold and the seeker has to place ten sticks on the board instead of counting. After this, the seeker is to shout "Kymmenen tikkua laudalla!" and start seeking the players. When found, the players must reach the home base before the seeker and bounce the board, causing the sticks to fly all around, forcing the seeker to collect them again on the board and the game starts again. Bouncing the board can also be used to rescue any caught players. Wikipedia link: fi:kymmenen tikkua laudalla Categories (topical): Games
